Indian Food Company was born from an idea to recreate age old Indian dishes to the Modern households. In a Country like ours, which is vast and diversified with different cultures , it becomes a daunting task to keep a tab of all variety of recipes in its original avatar. Original recipes are either kept as a secret in household kitchens getting passed on from one generation to another or sometimes is just restricted itself to its origin …
IFC goes the extra mile to do that research and bring out these age old recipes from their rightful owners , to replicate them using their cooking techniques , even going further to source the ingredients from that place. We onboard Home chefs who know the the secret roadmaps to these regional delicacies, at IFC, we assign them as Dish Experts who virtually own these dishes for us and make sure every time it is made in oour kitchen, it is first tasted and verified by a knowledable dish expert.
Be it a traditional Goan fish curry made in coastal grinded Konkani spices the Konkani way or to the rich flavored Awad Biryanis from Lucknow.. genuine efforts always go in finding the People who can make us reach these right recipes , so in turn , our Customers can in a carefree manner go and savor the diversity of food.

FounderRanjit started his food journey with Khanabadosh (Now , Indian Food Company) , in 2014. First generation entrepreneur, was the founding team member at Ideacts Innovations , a company backed by Sequoia Capital and Sama Capital. Heading the National Role, he managed a team of 120 members across 90 cities in India. His passion for food and a dream to build a true Indian Food Venture gave birth to Indian Food Company.
Executive ChefAmit is the young and Vibrant head of the Kitchen at Indian Food Company. He did his Hotel Management from Oriental School in Wayanad, moved to do this job stints in Trident, United Manchester and finally decided to be a part of Indian Food Company , in August 2016. Amit loves spending time with this family and is a proud father of a little boy
Head CreativeAnkita is creative support for the Company. She spearheads all marketing creative (singlehandedly!) & has the last say on anything and everything visual – A Travel junkie at heart , Ankita is a usually off to some new destination every second weekend of the month , infect .. her travel calendar is already Choco blocked for the next 2 years ..we’ve heard 🙂

Gurvinder is based out of Delhi and comes to calibrate these dishes once in a month to our Central Kitchen in Pune. His experience related to Tandoori Kebabs and other dishes popular from Delhi, is significant contribution to the Indian Food Company. He promises to get more dishes from his Home town ; which he claims, is going to earn a new found respect to Delhi !
Expert - KashmiriJanaab spend his formative years in knowing the Kashmiri cuisine as a Waza ; a Junior cook involved in making the exquisite spread of Kashmiri food called wazwan.From the beautiful valleys of Kashmir, where he mastered delicious recipes like Ghustaba , Rogan Josh and others , Janaab loves to explore other cuisines also… travelling to places.
Expert - Bengali“Nidhi, needless to say, is a born foodie. Her extensive travel across the country, courtesy her Father’s job , turned out to be a boon… giving her a chance to taste some deep routed regional delicacies from around the Country ..
